| Product Description | The body ends are reinforced to increase torsional rigidity. It features a motion control beam with built-in friction-type vibration damping dampers. For an enjoyable driving experience, a stronger body is preferable. This is because road inputs can cause the body to distort, hindering the suspension's movement. Of course, mass-produced car bodies are constantly evolving and possess sufficient rigidity for normal driving, but there is still room for improvement in rigidity to fully experience a sense of unity with the car. Therefore, we have explored the weak points of mass-produced bodies and built a lineup ranging from strut tower bars to full-fledged brace kits, aiming for a perfectly rigid body. To further enhance this, we focused on reinforcing the front and rear ends of the body, which are effective against torsion. Compared to the cabin in the center of the body where the monocoque is formed, the front and rear ends are basically constructed of two rectangular closed-section side frames arranged vertically, similar to the ladder frame used in trucks, with only reinforcement added. Moreover, these areas also contain the suspension mounting points, which are subjected to heavy loads, making them more prone to torsion than the center of the body. Reinforcing these areas would make it possible to achieve a more robust body. |
