| Product Description | HPI's reinforced transmission (capable of delivering a maximum torque of 50 kg/m and a maximum power output of 430 hp) continues to be a favorite among many competition vehicles. ◆To fully enjoy circuit and drift driving with ideal gear ratios, we've moved the 1st and 2nd gear ratios closer to 3rd gear, and the 6th gear ratio closer to 5th gear. Furthermore, competition-specific gears are designed with strength and ease of manufacturing in mind. The low mesh ratio, which is crucial for quietness, and the rough surface finish of the teeth result in a loud whistling noise that makes them unsuitable for everyday use. Taking these factors into consideration, we've selected a gear ratio that is comfortable for everyday use. HPI's unique internal processing has further improved the performance of NISMO transmissions, and their potential continues to be highly praised by many drivers. ◆By changing the gear ratio, we've increased the gear diameter, ensuring high strength. Furthermore, without changing the gear ratio, we've reduced the number of teeth on the counter and main gears by changing the module (gear specifications) , increasing the size of each tooth to increase strength. By reducing the twist angle of the teeth, we have reduced the thrust impact force towards the front of the counter shaft caused by impact torque input, and have taken measures to prevent damage to the end face of the counter reverse gear. ◆While retaining the advantages of the standard "FS6R92A", by optimizing the strength and gear ratio, we have achieved operability and quietness that are incomparable to dog transmissions designed solely for competition or old-fashioned synchronized transmissions . |
