Engine performance can decrease without you even realizing it. Too low a water temperature is definitely not good.\u003cbr\u003eHowever, if the temperature is too high, it can overheat and put a strain on the engine, so it's best to keep the water temperature at the appropriate level. That's where the middle-temperature thermostat comes in.
